San Fereolo Langhe Rosato La Lupa 2023 Wine Seminar Pavie Decesse sits on theA rose with the soul of San Fereolo's serious reds. Nicoletta Bocca farms her Dogliani estate biodynamically (Demeter certified) just south of Barolo, and La Lupa, the she wolf, is her Langhe rosato made from the same old vine Dolcetto that goes into her flagship reds. Bottled as a Langhe Rosato, it is dry, structured, and food driven rather than a poolside sipper, all character and energy. A distinctive pink for people who normally skip rose.
