So Far Out Santa Barbara County Chillable Red 2023 REDBURGUNDYROUNDUP From the producer: Cloudy BayAndrew Jones (Field Recordings) launched So Far Out as the Santa Barbara natural wine arm of his project, made in collaboration with fifth generation SB farmer Mike Testa and Jamil Williams. Chillable Red is the brief: organic fruit, light handed winemaking, a 30 minute fridge stop before pouring. The 2023 is a juicy, low tannin red built for porch chairs and pizza nights rather than swirling and contemplating. It rewards a chill and disappears fast.
