Hayward Strainer Cover | SPX3000D Patio Additional Specs: Coated for UVWhat This Part Is Used For The Hayward SPX3000D is a strainer cover used on compatible Hayward pumps. It closes the strainer housing so the pump can hold prime and allows access to the basket for routine cleanings. This lid sits at the front of the pump on the suction side. Why This Part Matters A cracked lid or damaged sealing surface can pull air and cause the pump to lose prime. That leads to weak flow, noisy operation, and inconsistent filtration.
