This was a shot I had planned ahead of time

As I positioned myself for sunset along the southern Oregon coast I stayed a little after sunset to capture some of the motion of the ocean along the water

I noticed the door handles and the contrast with some afternoon light illuminating the one side of the complex

The shallow depth of field helps obscure the real perspective of the size of the sand in the image

During the summer of 2014 I was out photographing around Douglas Island when I encountered a boat heading into the fog to go fishing
