Hayward Pump Strainer Cover Kit, with Lock Ring | SPX4000DLT Spa Ozonators Bulk pack configurationWhat This Part Is Used For The Hayward SPX4000DLT is a strainer cover kit with lock ring used on compatible Hayward pumps. It closes the pump strainer basket area so the pump can maintain suction, prime properly, and circulate water consistently. This kit installs on top of the pump strainer housing at the equipment pad. Why This Part Matters A cracked lid or worn lock ring can let air into the pump, causing prime loss, low flow, and noisy operation.
