James E. Pepper 1776 Straight Rye Whiskey RED SPOT After they are blendedJames E. Pepper 1776 Straight Rye Whiskey has over 90% rye in its mash bill. Aged in new, charred American oak, it is non chill filtered and bottled at 100 proof. James E. Pepper 1776 Straight Rye Whiskey has delicate floral aromas of dried peach, nougat, creme brulee, and pepper with a supple, dry yet fruity medium to full body and a buttercream, orange spice cake finish. Rounds out nicely with a few drops of water. Cheers, and enjoy this whiskey!
