In the fall of 2012 I went to Sloans Lake to photograph at sunrise since it is the time of year the sun will rise directly over the city

The ski resort is not yet open

On this day I captured downtown Denver using the windows to frame the city making it slightly out of focus with a shallow depth of field

This image was an afternoon at Lake McDonald looking towards Stanton Mountain on some fresh snow which wasn't hard to find at all

It was closer to my car then I remembered

Alaska Governors Mansion at Christmas Size:11"x14" In the fall of 2012Just after Thanksgiving a good amount of snow fell in Juneau, and last night some more started to fall. With camera in hand I headed over to the Governors Mansion to photograph the holiday lights with some fresh snow falling. The mansion itself is in a residential area not too far from the capitol building.
