but it does so minus that delicate floral embroidery that comes forth with such delight in 2013

315 cases made

Among the wines still in barrel

powerful and brooding big-bodied flavors possess outstanding volume and mid-palate concentration where the abundant dry extract serves to buffer the very firm and imposing tannic spine on the hugely long finish

this wine also excels at showing pinpoint details of wild cherry

Domaine Dujac, Charmes Chambertin Vintage:2020 but it does so minusUltra pure pinot fruit that is almost delicate in character. This is sweet, fine, pure and long with juicy, succulent, somewhat fleshy flavors yet offers surprisingly good precision on the back end. Very long and quite persistent. Delightful rather than compelling but this is so exuberant yet fine that its impossible not to like. My rating assumes that it will add both weight and complexity with age.
