Winter at Sloans Lake Size:20"x30" In November of 2008 I

In November of 2008 I headed to a park I have passed many times while traveling on Speer Blvd but never realized what it consisted of as I sped on past the park

A new year has begun and I took the opportunity to photograph the first sunrise of 2013 in Denver

however with the nice contrast a change to black and white worked even better for this result

For two year prior to this the Colorado Rockies played at Mile High Stadium which is now the location of the parking lot next to Sports Authority Field

Positioning myself for sunrise I wait to the morning light to pick up more of this steam with the City of Denver in the background from just west of downtown

Winter at Sloans Lake Size:20"x30" In November of 2008 ITaking advantage of a large snowfall in Denver, I headed to Sloans Lake which is along the western border of Denver. Walking around the lake I noticed this flowing tree and started to photograph it with the lake in the background. I sort of laughed to myself as it does have a little similarity to the image Winter in Washington Park which I have photographed a few times before as well.
