Canopy at Union Station Size:11"x14" On Thanksgiving morning a few

On Thanksgiving morning a few years ago

these trees will sometimes be in the water or on the dry soil depending on the level of the water

I photographed around the lake and after almost completing a loop found this tree

however usually by Memorial Day Weekend it is open again connecting Estes Park with Grand Lake

I planned to wake up early to get out to Washington Park prior to sunrise and see how it had been transformed

Canopy at Union Station Size:11"x14" On Thanksgiving morning a fewA lot of change has taken place around Union Station in Denver. During the changes at the train station, I headed that direction in the evening for some photography. A few mornings I have driven past the location of the new canopy over the platforms outside the train station and this was on my mind today as I looked around the area. From this perspective the repeating lines and the contrast against the dark sky drew my attention.
