2022 | Torre dei Beati Bianchi Grilli per la Testa Trebbiano d'Abruzzo | Abruzzo Clos Vougeot aged in neutral barrels

aged in neutral barrels

That's not a bad sign in my book

Delivers a fascinating yin-yang of deep richness (ripe fruit

open and soft feel with long tannins winding the finish out very long

A lovely creamy texture on the tongue with a nice amount of light red berry fruit here on the finish

2022 | Torre dei Beati Bianchi Grilli per la Testa Trebbiano d'Abruzzo | Abruzzo Clos Vougeot aged in neutral barrelsThe 2022 Trebbiano d'Abruzzo Bianchi Grilli Per La Testa opens with a tropical burst of citrus and spice before leveling out with fresh apples and pears. Soothingly round and pliant, it sweeps across the palate with ripe orchard fruits, ginger spice and sour citrus. The 2022 finishes with tension and fantastic length, leaving a tinge of sour melon and enriching hints of raw almond. 93 Pts Eric Guido, Vinous
