A truly wonderful miniature depicting a magical old fashioned wishing well crafted in solid 9ct yellow gold. A wishing well is a term from European folklore to describe wells where it was thought that any spoken wish would be granted. It has beautiful detailing with tiny engravings such as the bricked roof and moving hand pump that turns. A true rare find that I know will be snapped up! ERA: Mid
