Lines in the Sand Size:8"x10" The sky begins to show

The sky begins to show the start of another day in Denver from Sloans Lake

This is no longer the case as the motel has been closed

As I stood on the side of the road a few people stopped to see what I was photographing

With some high clouds in the sky

As I photographed from this location I noticed the black and white verticals and horizontals in a building nearby

Lines in the Sand Size:8"x10" The sky begins to showWhat I like about this image is the abstract feel of the sand which I captured. The shallow depth of field helps obscure the real perspective of the size of the sand in the image. This allows the viewer to come to their own conclusion of the scene and allows them to interpret it in their own manner which can also change over time.
