Clandestin, Les Revers Brut Nature other_regions licorice and lavender all developThe NV (2019) Brut Nature Les Revers is a pure Chardonnay from north facing vineyards in the Aube, fermented and aged in barrel. The nose is intense with creaminess and dried corn husk and a slight echo of smoke. Sprightly mousse underlines the fact that this is less about fruit than about texture and soil, expressing deeper creaminess and the smoothness of pillowy brioche. Light, bright and yet with substance. A blanc de blancs but not as you know
