Contrast of Patterns Size:24"x36" As I was driving along

As I was driving along Alameda I noticed this perspective with the sunset and found a spot to capture the ridge line as well as the colors in the sky on a windy afternoon

It was an evening when aircraft were taking off to the north which allowed me to get a little closer then when I did a similar image in 2008 south of the airport

whether it is the modern city or the mix of new and old found in some locations

Using the fisheye lens and a tripod to extend out the camera over the area of snow I was able to capture this image

With a setting of aspen trees and plenty of columbine underneath I photographed in the area for a while

Contrast of Patterns Size:24"x36" As I was driving alonglt is interesting how a glass facade of a building can change quickly when it starts to reflect other buildings which is happen in this image. As I passed by this building in Chicago it started to reflect in the next facade. With the lines of two buildings an interesting pattern starts to take shape along the skyline.
