Curved Line in the Sand Size:11"x14" A few weeks earlier I

A few weeks earlier I captured the fall colors around the Governor's Mansion and thought it would be a good comparison to photograph around there during this late snowfall once again working the lines into the image

Yes it does rain in Juneau

Preparing for this at the western edge of the park I position myself close to where I felt the sun would be over the city when creating this image

I found myself in lower downtown photographing some of the runners as well as the early morning light

however I woke up early and headed to Rocky Mountain National Park and the Bear Lake area

Curved Line in the Sand Size:11"x14" A few weeks earlier IWhen you first get to the Great Sand Dunes National Park and Preserve you can focus on the large dunes which sit in front of the Sangre de Christo Mountains. However there are also the small details which you can find as well as in this image. A line in the sand winds it way into the dunes as the afternoon sun casts a shadow.
