Acorn - Original Handmade Print sparrow This is just the beginning

This is just the beginning of something more citrus-led

We felt nothing could be more fitting than creating this print

where people are baptised and become ‘children of the church

Having learned that ‘kicks’ is slang for trainers

depicting our little cat's adventures in the snow

Acorn - Original Handmade Print sparrow This is just the beginningWeve been exploring embossing and debossing combined with linocut printing for a few years now. Last year, our Blimey Thats Steep print combined both debossing and linocut printing, and since then weve kept refining the process. This latest design features an oak leaf and an acorn, inspired by the bumper crop of acorns this year. 2025 is set to be a mast year, when trees produce a hefty harvest to boost new growth and outwit the squirrels and birds.
