Castello Di Ama, Apparita Vintage:2017 a blend of 80% Roussanne

a blend of 80% Roussanne and 20% white Grenache fermented 80% in tank and 20% in barrel

cedar and sweet pipe tobacco gradually open up in a wine that is more giving on the palate than it is in its aromatics

There is good volume and richness to the solidly well-concentrated and appealingly textured medium-bodied flavors that possess excellent depth and length on the quite firmly structured finish where a touch of dryness appears that I suspect is attributable to the recent bottling rather than under ripe tannins

good length and freshness

angular finish

Castello Di Ama, Apparita Vintage:2017 a blend of 80% RoussanneThe 2010 LApparita is a pure expression of Merlot with bold fruit nuances of cherry and black fruit at the core. This vintage is especially sophisticated and fine, Evidently those cooling diurnal shifts during the growing season have contributed to the overall elegance and prestige of this beautiful varietal wine. It promises a slow and steady evolution over the next ten years. Drink, 2015 2028.
