Bouchard Pere et Fils, Chapelle Chambertin Vintage:2014 Patience strongly advised

Patience strongly advised

round and utterly delicious medium-bodied flavors possess a sleek muscularity and solid intensity

Remarkably for a wine that is gorgeously refined

blackberry preserves and mulberry-scented nose plus suggestions of mincemeat

the press wine never makes it into the final blends

Bouchard Pere et Fils, Chapelle Chambertin Vintage:2014 Patience strongly advised(from purchased grapes in Chapelle proper). Somewhat more moderate wood and menthol characters are present on the spicy liqueur like aromas of plum, black cherry and earth. The suave and opulently textured middle weight plus flavors possess a wonderfully seductive mouth feel before culminating in a mocha inflected finish where a touch of warmth appears. This isnt quite as vibrant as the best here though its still certainly attractive. (91 93) 2025+
