Le Village Dutch Still Life There are canvas opening microphones19th century oil painting on wood panel signed in the lower right corner (illegible). In this small format oil painting, a woman walks down a stone path toward a village, with the sea visible in the distance. Upon closer inspection, we see she is flanked by chickens and roosters along the path and appears to be holding a basket perhaps feeding them as she walks. This pastoral scene was painted with quick, confident brushstrokes that create lush
