Antique Japanese Porcelain Small Bowl Plate Blue Sometsuke Flower Kozara PY303 cream Japanese Photo Album w/62 photosAntique Japanese Porcelain Plate Sara This is an antique Japanese small bowl or side plate (Kozara). There is a blue Sometsuke of flower design in the middle of the plate. The center of the flower has a mark that looks like yin and yang. Little distortion is seen in the plate. Because it was fired with firewood instead of gas or electricity as it is today, the temperature was not stable and easy to warp. It's a good plate to put small food or sweets
