and in 2023

plenty of edgy red fruit and impressive delineation on the finish that shows focus and length

this has a complex and sophisticated nose that delivers peach fruits and citrus

The clear sake is separated from the fermenting rice lees by putting it into canvas bags and allowing the sake to drip out overnight (as opposed to pressing it)

Gaston Chiquet Premier Cru Brut Rose, Champagne, France NV Petits Chateaux Shows lovely balanceThe NV Brut Ros (2020 base) is stellar. Lifted floral and savory accents meld into a core of punchy red toned fruit. Cranberry, white pepper, mint, crushed rocks and blood orange build into the nervy, resonant finish. The Ros is light in color and finessed, but also has tons of richness, much of that coming from the 18% still Pinot in the blend. Disgorged: March, 2022. 92 Pts Vinous
