ritual firedance by manuel de falla 1 euphonium & piano (PDF) The first slow movement «Largo»The famed Ritual Fire Dance (Danza ritual del fuego) is a movement from de Fallas ballet El amor brujo (The Bewitched Love) and was composed in 1915. With its fast trills and ornaments, the work is said to be inspired by Rimsky Korsakovs Flight of the Bumblebee. De Falla himself made several arrangements of this movement for various instrumentations, among them a hugely popular piano rendition (1921).
