Moulin de Gassac Merlot White Rioja. Aged White Wine Following a temperature controlled vinification

Following a temperature controlled vinification in stainless steel

through my very unreliable German

more so than I would have expected from this largely opulent and exuberant vintage

Produced by fourth-generation vigneron Lucien Lardy from old vines

The wine shows great balance and composure and will drink fantastically with or without food

Moulin de Gassac Merlot White Rioja. Aged White Wine Following a temperature controlled vinificationA classic Languedoc Merlot with the signature elegance and freshness of Mas de Daumas Gassac, this wine features a deep sultry red color and fine aromas of summer berries with a hint of spice. On the palate, it is well balanced, round, and fruity with smooth, harmonious tannins and notes of red fruit, plum, and a touch of roasted coffee. It is an approachable and easy drinking red that pairs perfectly with grilled meats, charcuterie, or a cheese board.
