Introduction by Jeff MacNelly

Mazan Sketchbook - Signed & Numbered Modern Age (1985-2000) Leaving the Kolonie is difficultA great new Comix Buro sketchbook showcasing the work of a French bande dessine artist. Mazan is in the middle of a bande dessine series set in ancient Egypt, and 18 pages are devoted to sketches and studies of Egyptian characters and environments. Another section covers feudal Japan. Also, fairy tale animals, fantastical creatures, and other subjects, all drawn in a very charming style. One of 900 numbered copies signed by the artist.
