iittala Toikka Blue Bird new-glass-birds and contrast to the designIn production since 1992, Blue Bird by Finnish artist Oiva Toikka is a favorite of many collectors. The stunning cobalt blue grabs your attention as does the intricate pattern throughout the body. A clear head and beak rest atop this beautiful creation from Oiva Toikka and iittala. All of the Toikka birds are highly collected, individually made, mouth blown pieces of art. Each bird is handmade at iittala's glass factory in Finland.
