Glen Elgin 14 Year Old 2009 Sauternes Cask Finish, Little Brown Dog Bordeaux Cask Finish 990 Cask Type Ex-Bourbon BarrelsThis bright and beautiful Speyside single malt from Glen Elgin was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2023 by Little Brown Dog Spirits at a natural cask strength of 54. 1% ABV, yielding exactly 267 bottles. A spirit as delicate and intricate as Glen Elgin deserves gentle cask treatment, carefully matching the spirit with wood as it would otherwise be easy to overwhelm the distillate and lose everything that's so special about it.
