This gives the inside bottom of the bowl a very soft look as compared to the more graphic feel of the peony flowers

Sides flare out as they ascend towards the rim

The bowl itself was wheel thrown by Dennis on the potter's wheel, and trimmed to form a footring on the bottom. Swirl is subtly visible on the inside bottom. The bowl is a light teal colored porcelain,
