Riccar/Simplicity Direct Air Fan - Brilliance & Synchrony Upright 518 Construction: OEM 14-inch brush rollThe Riccar and Simplicity Direct Air Fan is the replacement suction fan for Brilliance and Synchrony upright vacuums, along with the matching Simplicity models built on the same platform. In a direct air upright, the fan is the heart of the machine, generating the airflow that pulls dirt off the carpet, so a chipped or cracked fan shows up immediately as weak suction. Fans usually fail after the vacuum swallows a coin, a rock, or another hard object.
