Hoover Canister Cord Reel - S3865, SH40050, 55 CMPS-QD2-2 opening air leaks that reduceThis OEM Hoover cord reel (Part #302458006) fits the Hoover S3865, SH40050, and SH40055 canister vacuums. The reel houses the power cord and its spring, retracting the cord neatly for storage after each use. The retraction spring weakens over years of winding, and when the reel jams or stops pulling the cord back, storing the vacuum becomes a chore. This factory reel comes pre loaded and ready to install, restoring smooth, spring loaded retraction.
