Rare Antique Victorian Era Travel Inkwell in Genuine Tortoise Shell Box, Case, Etui Maurice From his overly thick cravat

From his overly thick cravat

I sold an 8" long box (shown in the final image) this week

Likely would have originally been mounted in a group including other period historical figures

the prices ranged from $600 to $2800 a single plate

I find no tears nor loosened areas on the canvas

Rare Antique Victorian Era Travel Inkwell in Genuine Tortoise Shell Box, Case, Etui Maurice From his overly thick cravatWonderful & rare antique Victorian era travel inkwell or scent cologne etui, a genuine tortoise shell box, case or etui with original bottle and all in fabulously preserved condition! Quite unique, this piece is most likely a travel inkwell though we've had and offered somewhat larger boxes or scent caddies with similar small perfume bottles. Not that it will likely be used for either now, more of an elegant little decorative accent for sure. Richly
