Crystal Filled Septarian Geode pink design Uruguayan Amethyst SphereColossal yellow crystal covered nodules fill the geode cavity of this polished Septarian specimen from Utah. Felt bottom for furniture protection. Septarian is derived from the Latin work septem meaning seven. These nodules were formed 50 70 million years ago in Utah. Mud balls which created this mineral cracked with seven points in every direction creating the crackle pattern. The yellow centers are composed of Calcite, the brown lines are Aragonite
