'The Mystical Jaguar' - Original artwork (watercolor, coloured pencil on paper) #costarica despite the gruesome end resultThe jaguar (Panthera onca) is the largest wild cat in the Americas and the third largest globally, after tigers and lions. It is easily recognized by its robust build, golden yellow coat adorned with distinctive black rosettes, and a short, powerful tail. Jaguars are apex predators and are found primarily in the rainforests of Central and South America, with the Amazon basin being their stronghold. I had not intended to produce a green background.
