Pattachitra Raas Leela on Silk - Odisha Wall Art ethnic side table handmade Its bolderRaas Leela, the mystic circular dance shared between Krishna and the Gopis, is rendered here in Pattachitra, the traditional scroll painting technique of Odisha, hand painted directly onto silk fabric rather than wood or paper. The entire composition is kept in a monotone palette with a white marble and stone effect, giving the scene a shimmering, almost sculptural quality rather than the bold multicolour typically associated with folk painting.
