Prunus cerasus 'Montmorency' ~ Montmorency Cherry Tree low-water (2) 200530 030 SD BotanicMontmorency Cherry Tree is a popular sour cherry cultivar that is low maintenance and early fruiting, with its bright red tangy tart cherries ready to harvest at the turn of the season. Its white flowers bloom in late spring. Grows best in most, well drained soils that are lightly acidic. Average age to start fruiting is 4 6 years. Montmorency is highly disease resistant and self pollinating, but having another pollinator would increase its yield.
