non-interventionist all the way

Utterly compelling even in its youth

They wanted to make something fresh and fun for summertime drinking

Domaine des Ardoisières, Améthyste 2020 Australia this is complex as heckPlace: Savoie, France Grape: Persan + Mondeuse Noire Vibe: Elite Pretty mental drop that drinks like top shelf Cte Rtie. The summer sun combined with an almost vertically steep slope means work stops around lunch as beyond this it becomes physically impossible Truly heroic viticulture. Grown over schist that imparts an unforgettable stony minerality. IMO, up there with some of the finer things coming outta France. ABV: 12%
