Hoover Switch Ball - Size #12/#14 Broom Compatible Models: Eureka: 284This switch ball (part #NLA1188) is a replacement control for Hoover machines in the size #12 and #14 range. It handles the on off and speed function so the vacuum responds when you set it. A failing switch can leave the vacuum unwilling to start, running intermittently, or unable to hold a speed setting. Replacing the worn switch ball restores dependable control over power and operation, which keeps the machine predictable in daily use. Fits: Hoover
