Francia often surprises down the road

Aromatic wonderland here

Domaine Denis Bachelet is small but perfectly formed - four hectares of pure Burgundian bliss

Sylvain Pataille, Bourgogne Aligoté 'Petit Puits' 2022 Pét Nat + Friends Francia often surprises down thePlace: Burgundy, France Grape: Aligot Vibe: Natural, textural Pataille showing once again all the potential of the oft sidelined Aligot. The vines are coming up on 100 years old, so there's that. This cuve is marked with intense minerality, with strong notes of hazelnut, acacia, freshly toasted bread and pears. A better blind taster than me would say this was Chardonnay, but who cares when it tastes this good? ABV: 13. 5%
