Victorian Amethyst & Rose Cut Diamond Five Stone Antique Ring England to the finely engraved mountAntique Victorian ring, circa 1860, featuring five rectangular and square cut amethysts set in a row across the finger in yellow gold. The amethysts are surrounded as a group by a cluster of rose cut diamonds set in silver. The band is yellow gold with a timeworn patina. The shoulders feature a distinctive claw like motif that adds a sculptural element to the setting. Closed back, mixed metal construction is consistent with mid Victorian design.
