Power Nozzle Motor - Beam Rug Master Plus Scout 1-1/2 inchThis replacement power nozzle motor drives the brush roll inside the Beam Rug Master Plus cleaning head, model 8508. Separate from the central unit's suction motor, it turns the brush roll that agitates carpet as you clean. When this motor fails, the brush roll stops spinning even though the central vacuum keeps pulling air, so carpet agitation disappears. Warning signs include a stalled brush roll, a burning smell from the nozzle, or grinding noises
