Turning Bowl Bank Gene and Lucy saw it

Gene and Lucy saw it first on a chest in the Vesterheim Norwegian-American Museum

This has a design combed into the freshly thrown pot that resembles a wave

We still don't know if they are fish or birds but they are lovely in a sunny window

This is a brand new collector's design by Abby Spence

There were opportunities for land newly opened

Turning Bowl Bank Gene and Lucy saw itGene made a series of bowls similar to the ones that our Norwegian Rosemaling friends loved to use. Theirs were hand turned on a wood lathe, but Gene turned these on his potter's wheel. There is such charm in this simple but sophisticated form with reverse curves and perfectly scaled rims.
