Petit Antique French Oil Painting, 4 Men at Table, A Dinner with the Friar Cache Pot Elegant & rare antique FrenchA charming small interior painting, mid 1800s and nicely preserved on the original canvas and stretcher. Four gentlemen at a table set with food, they're engrossed in the story being told by the Friar. Such a French scene, and while it's sadly unsigned, it's beautifully done and has almost a feel of an Edward Hopper (American artist). It will be perfect for a doll's house setting, or on shelf or wall grouping. Intimate at 10 1 2" x 7 3 8" outer
