Antique French 19th Century Oil Painting Military Portrait Soldier with Rifle, Artist Signed L Bonnamy Etruscan Revival I spent time cleaning thisCharming oil painting on thick pressed card, Impressionist influence portrait of a military soldier holding up his rifle with bayonet, guard house in distance. The artist has signed both front and back, "L. Bonnamy" and I have not yet found reference to that artist. The painting has a country or folk feel to it, perhaps that of a young artist. No evidence of it ever having been in frame (no edge marks a frame might leave). Intimate size at 13. 5" x
